Trying too hard

I didn't get through the second chapter. The interview scene was not a good start as it seemed to copy every police procedural ever written. The dialogue between him and the female cop turned me off as well with the same criticism; too clichéd.

Even if you are not a Science Fiction buff this may perk your interest as it has mine. When I first saw this as a tease listen I was like "sure" but as I started to listen to the book it grabs your attention and keeps you hooked until you are wanting more.....
