a wonderful heartfelt tale
written as a novel almost, this is a great journey into the mind and heart of Francis. it underemphasized the social aspect of Francis, but this is hard to capture. the social and friendly love with which Jesus and Francis impacted this world is their most important feature

Beautiful story
I was considering choosing St. Francis for my Confirmation Saint and wanted to read a Francis biography. This was perfect! The author has a true love for Francis of Assisi.
