In 1975, 15-year-old Martha Moxley's body was found in the backyard of her family's Connecticut home, and a member of America's beloved Kennedy family, then also 15, was accused of the crime. What ensued was a media firestorm and a whodunit that transfixed the nation, providing daily debates - and cruel, dinner table entertainment. Now, 40 years after Michael Skakel's conviction, his cousin, acclaimed activist and writer Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has taken matters into his own hands to get the charges dropped and clear his cousin's name.

This startling exposé - a riveting true story of murder, romance, and fame - is the story of Skakel's conviction that the public has never before been privy to. It is the product of hundreds of interviews with Skakel and those who knew him, Martha Moxley, and what may have happened the night of the crime, Halloween eve. It also explores why Kennedy believes Skakel has yet to receive a fair trial, and why he demands the original verdict be overturned.

Well researched book. Justice was no done for Michael and I think that it is too late to find the real killer.

Finally the truth

This is why we need open and fair systems! Having a one sided story sold by the media, will and can ruin any person in this world! Justice need to be revamp! Re-design, re-apply! It’s our law and order, Justice failing us!!

Truth or coverup?

Like a modern Shakespearean tragedy, revealing how lack of courage and moral bankruptcy of our society in large and small ways contributes to heart, wrenching injustice. The killers go free while many other innocence die, and have their lives destroyed because of cowardice and corruption and greed, Terrible parenting, an incredible irresponsibility of adults who normalize the brutal Physical, psychological abuse, and neglect of adolescence. I’ve never before felt so much pity for the children of Economically wealthy, but morally depraved adults.
RFKJ and Michael Skakel are beautiful human beings who have allowed their personal suffering to turn them into beacons of light in the darkness. God bless them both. I’m so Grateful these two men are in our world, and our nation, at this time. And of course, RFKJ has my support vote in 2024!!!! Anyone with a little sense and an open line who gives a damn about our country and listens to Kennedy on independent media for even a few minutes will quickly realize how he is an amazing candidate. Shanahan is excellent as well with her intelligence and complimentary skill set. I love people with integrity!

Wow! Heart wrenching

This read is excellent. It shows how man’s self-serving agendas can easily hide evidence and manipulate truth by preventing access to it. This behavior has become too commonplace and has threatened the rule of law in America for decades upon decades. These behaviors are threatening all of us today as our Constitution is dragged through the mud. From the injustice imposed on a single man, Michael Skakel, to the censorship imposed by our gov’t and other powers that be today, we all must pay close attention and do the homework needed to make fair and just decisions. We don’t want to all be victims like Michael.
