Four Tickets to Paradise

The year is 1927 and the setting is a small mining town in West Virginia. Cletus Jackson is an eighty two year old disabled Civil War Veteran. Cletus is a diehard New York Yankee fan and his favorite player is Babe Ruth. The Yankee are having one of the greatest seasons ever with a lineup called murderer’s row. Everyday Cletus goes down to Dooley’s General Store to listen to the game and play chess with the store owner Jack. Matthew is Cletus’s grandson and he wants to surprise his grandfather with a trip to Yankee Stadum for is eighty third birthday. This is a family oriented story filled with drama and suspense and it’s a page turner.
