In this book, we will study the foundations of joy or the roots of joy. These foundations or roots of joy are faith, gratitude, and mercy. Faith includes trust, and gratitude includes Thanksgiving.We must learn to live in “JOY”. I rejoice in God my Savior! This book is about about learning to live in joy. Joy comes so much easier when you have faith in God. Joy comes so much easier when you are thankful and show gratitude to God no matter what circumstances you find yourself in. Joy comes much easier when you show mercy to others just as God has shown mercy to you. We as Christians must learn to use the “Sword of Joy”, that is, the “Word of God” (the Bible), to cut away the darkness of despair, loneliness, depression, sadness, and grief, addictions, etc. We must ask God to fill us with the “Spirit of Joy” which is the Holy Spirit!
