Acerca de esta escucha

There’s a lot more than Roswell in the history of UFOs. From the Foo Fighters of World War Two (not a rock band), to the original “flying saucers” (they weren’t saucers), this book covers sightings from Hawaii to Connecticut to the Yukon as reported by journalists of the day. There was the summer “raid” on Washington when UFOs showed up in force three times in ten days—enough to scare the CIA into organizing a response. Then there was the UFO that an American jet chased over Lake Superior for miles—until it merged with the “saucer’s” radar image and disappeared, never to be seen again. Or the UFO followed by two police officers for almost a hundred miles that waited when the squad car encountered red lights.

Thousands of people have seen UFOs over the years, many of them respected observers, including airline pilots, scientists and police officers. Those UFOs couldn’t all have been the planet Venus or weather balloons, no matter what the government said at the time—and it’s all in this book.
