This is well researched, a source to find other books on fly fishing. In some ways it’s tedious due to constant referencing, but for those who want to be introduced to other subject matter expert authors, this book does good work in providing that bread crumb trail to back up its insights. if you are a seasoned fly fisherman, you may not need this book but you may glean an insight or two. This is not McGuane, nor Gierach or Bergman. This is like an Adam’s fly, bland yet consumable.

Thorough, like a beginners guitar book with history
