This was an excellent conclusion to this series. I’m sorry it’s over. Loved the narration.

This series was such a work of art that I am so lost for words. I might even re listen the whole series 😋. (sigh) why do all good things come to a end.

Great Finale

It took me a while to finally read this book, mainly because it was the series end. It was a terrific end. I teared up at the end when a well deserved character received their familiar, thanks of course to Fluke. This is a great series.

I binged the first 4 books a month ago and was stoked to see the finale finally dropped!

It’s a feel-good end to a great story. The plot and conflict is well structured and gives enough weight to the bad guys’ plots and motives while also painting them in a realistic, human light with shortcomings and failings. It’s heavy where it matters but keeps it light with good forward momentum to move the plot along.

Definitely recommend!

The only bad part is that it’s over

I started this series shortly after the previous book became available in audio so I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this finale but it totally lived up to my expectations and was well worth the wait. I’m just jealous of anyone who has just started the series and is able to binge the whole thing.

I absolutely loved this whole series and this final book really was wonderful in the way it wrapped everything up. I don’t feel like there were any loose ends and it certainly wasn’t predictable.

I’d have loved for the book to have been longer and for there have been a bit more to the investigation after the team all came together to figure things out, but it didn’t feel rushed and the story felt complete.

I would love to have some spin-off series in this world perhaps where we focus on some of the side characters like Freddie & Mal or Quinn & his husband.

And Sam please, please, PLEASE write more shorts from Fluke’s POV!!! I’d even love to read something longer from Fluke if it’s anything like the short I’ve already read.

I thought Zachary’s narration was wonderful as always.

So if it wasn’t clear from what I’ve already written I highly recommend this whole series.

A Satisfying Coclusion

A great sendoff for the series! While it looks pretty obvious that this is apparently the end of our adventures with Sage, Gideon, and Fluke, I'm hoping the author continues to write more in the same setting and we at least get to see cameos. I really enjoyed the adventure from start to finish!

Really is a Fantastic Finale

Adore Fluke. The book is full of action, intrigue, romance and family. Sage is finally in his element, knowing what he can do and finally owning it. I really think we need more from this world, though...how did Quinn and Sterling meet? And a whole mini series on Fluke and his familiar searches....starting with how he knew he was a familiar and his search to find Sage.

Zachary is getting better with each book but while there is some distinction between Sage and Gideon, the other male characters tend to sound alike. The female characters have little to no distinction in accents, even though there are characters from the upper class, middle working class, India and Asian culture.

Love this series

I love the series it's really fun and the Joy to read. I'm sad that it is over I'm going to miss all these characters.
