Escaping from Boko Haram

On the 29th of October 2014, Boko Haram raided Mubi, a northern Nigerian town located in Adamawa State. There was series of gunshots and bomb blasts.

A College student, together with his sister and some friends. Must find a way out before it's too late. His story follows a series of events leading to their daring escape and adventures.

Boko Haram is a jihadist terrorist group that is against western education. They also adhere to the strict implementation of the sharia law. And they have been terrorizing Nigeria for more than a decade.

As a result of their activities, millions of people lost their homes. And thousands have lost their lives. The insurgents have shattered the dreams of many young Nigerians, especially children.

Many were orphaned, others widowed, some were captured and forced to become mothers at a tender age. Many people have their own stories to tell. And some were barely lucky to slip through their fingers.
