“Lyrics”: Maria Skyler is 20 years of age and working hard to become a successful country and western singer. She has done some things right: she found the courage to move to Nashville from another smaller, Tennessee city, and prepared herself to accept a very moderate lifestyle.
She shares a rundown house with some other young women, picks up singing gigs whenever possible, and makes ends meet by working as a delivery driver for an auto parts store.
She has also teamed up with a man just a few years older, Kent Malone, who is also trying to establish himself in the music industry, but as a sound and recording technician.
As is the case with Maria, Kent takes on recording jobs on a day by day basis, while also working in an auto detailing shop. Kent also serves as a de facto life coach for Maria. And one of those challenges is helping her cope with her anxiety problems, while never giving up trying to convince her to go for professional assistance despite her stubborn refusal to do so.

But success finally comes Maria’s way, and she wants Kent along with her on the journey. But she still is vexed by her issues with anxiety, and finally the day comes when Kent reveals to her his suggested solution to help her keep her grounded and calm. But how will she respond to the suggestion of being spanked? And how would they cope with some unexpected effects that may complicate the relationship?

And what can be worse than sending an emailed memo to her husband spelling out the reasons she wants the staff member let go that he may disagree with?
