Very interesting the first 2/3 and the whitehouse got different then. Would thoroly tecomend to anyone who likes history

An amazing book, so well written I felt as if I was there. The journey was so vivid I felt as if I was watching a movie.

Wonderful

I was wondering if I was going to enjoy this and I did. Such insight and into the political powers that was in place at that time. The wonderful showing of how things changed inside the White House and outside is amazing. And this is a wonderful story, a wonderful book, and a very unique perspective on how the president’s behaved and took to the protection detail after such a horrible event took place.

Reaquainting myself with contemporary history

Fascinating look at events that defined my generation. I came of age thru this period and I loved gaining greater insight.

I would highly recommend this book! If you are a lover of history, presidential history, then you would love this book. This is a first hand eye witness to history from someone protecting 5 presidents. Easy to listen to and follow. Again GREAT BOOK!

Loved it. Hated to have it end. Gave me a whole new respect for the Secret Service and the greatest country in the world.

Loved the Eyewitness to History

What an amazing story from the inside. I really like the detail provided by the author. Interesting perspective on some of the players too. It was also nice to hear such nice things about the VP Agnew. History has been very unkind to that man in ways they haven't others who've been accused of much worse. I did not enjoy the narration but it's hard for me to put into words why.

Must read for Presidential Historians

Clint Hill had a very unique perspective on 5 Presidents who couldn't have been more different. From the highest of highs, to the absolute lowest of lows, he witnessed it all. And even though he struggled, he persevered and recounts his storied career in vivid detail that places you right beside him on the protective detail that guards our nation's highest office. If you are a presidential history buff this is a must read.

A great way to remember things that happened in my lifetime

Clint was a man who saw many things in the USA’s history and tells about them from the perspective of a secret service agent. I was impressed by his story and how candid he was on certain aspects of his life. I recommend this book.
