Fishscales was written with the intent of bringing awareness to the brilliant mindsets of inner-city cocaine dealers in the United States. The purpose of this book is not for it to be used as a blueprint for perpetuating street crimes, but a plea to American politicians, policy makers, lobbyists, Congress people, senators, governors, and taxpayers to pay attention to the socioeconomic factors of the inner city that lead to a cocaine dealer’s state of mind.

Each chapter includes a quote from the author and a collection of vivid stories about his life in the streets. The purpose of each quote is to provide a brief glimpse of the author’s thoughts regarding the chapter. The vivid stories take listeners through the streets of Memphis, Tennessee, and Houston, Texas, where they get a first-hand perspective of the author’s life. As he transitions from Big Bluff’s million-dollar crack corner, recruits his familia, searches for a coastal supplier, and devises a highway-trafficking system, he explains each transitional step.
