While helping Benny process the loss of his family, both Jordan and Duane realize that their shared desire might be within reach. Or they could have it ripped away from them all over again.

feel good read

This story makes you believe in happy ever after. Loved it and wish it were longer lol.

It didn’t feel complete and disappointing

It felt like the plot and story was rushed and didn’t have satisfying transitions. I understand kids can adapt quickly or what seems like a long time but it felt like the bond became vocal and like a parent-child relationship too fast. But also the love story was going good, but once a moment of conflict came in it didn’t even seem like the resolved it, more like talked about it and had emotions and then agreed to move forward. I also felt the sensuality was low, I almost wasn’t sure they were intimate physically until the word “sex” was used. But I will say the details were very poetic and romantically described and that I give 5 stars. The rest however didn’t make me want to continue the series, honestly I stopped at chapter 6.
