Great Story

Enjoyed this story of a girl deciding to start a new life. Ruby and Quick’s story was very good

Great read/audio

First, this is a bit of a cliffhanger or open ended story!
This one is a little triggering for me with Ruby, working through and getting out of a horrible marriage. But I love hearing her journey and growth and getting back to herself! Absolutely love her grit and sass! Quick is just YUM and I can’t wait to read more about him!! Angera spun one helluva story that sucks you right in! Alice Rose does an amazing job narrating! She absolutely brings the feels, and the good times to this audio!

Freaking loved this story

Ruby is basically hiding out with her best friend Izzy while Ruby is having her mentally abusive husband is served with divorce papers. While with Izzy she meets Quick who happens to be in a MC Club. It’s pretty much the beginning of Quick & Firecrackers (Ruby’s) story. They pretty much have an insta- love connection. Within a few days you can tell the bond between them.

Ruby needed to get away so she went to NY from California to see her friend, Izzy. What a wonderful busy weekend she had, dancing, hanging with Izzy and her crew, including the hot bodyguards. Ruby earned the nickname of Firecracker because of her attitude. Ruby spent a lot of her weekend with Quick, saying it was only for the weekend. This is the beginning of their story and I am looking forward to the next installment.
The narration was great. I especially loved Alice Rose’s Irish accent!
Thanks for the ALC! I devoured it in a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great beginning!💜

This story was a great beginning to an epic story. I was expecting some angst and maybe more drama but overall it was very good. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
The narration was fantastic. Alice Rose performed these characters very well. I especially loved her Irish accent.
This book doesn’t have a cliffhanger but definitely leaves you wanting more!!
I recommend this book.

Firecracker brings on the heat

I loved how this character comes into her own and thoughtfully makes changes in her life to take care of herself and her daughter. This is the beginning of what is sure to be a great love story. I really look forward to more in this series. I loved the narrator. She did a fantastic job bringing out the details of each of the characters!

Awesome Story

How many of us have married the wrong person but try to stick it out for our kids? Even though you know you should leave but you continue, losing a little more of yourself day by day. If you know this feeling, then you can identify with Ruby. Ruby is married to the lead singer of a band and is tired of the music. Constantly being neglected, cheated on, and gaslighted, she is finally done. Ruby makes a life changing decision but needs time and space to bring it to fruition. Thank goodness for her best friend DJ Izzy. Izzy invites Ruby to the east coast to give her a place to get her thoughts together and help remember who she is. Like any best friend weekend (well, mine anyway) there is alcohol, fine ass men, and plenty of shenanigans. This book does not disappoint. There are many laugh out loud moments watching Ruby and Izzy rediscover their friendship. As the weekend continues Ruby begins to rediscover more of who she was before she became a wife and mother. She is a Firecracker! As the weekend comes to an end Ruby finds the strength and power to do what she knows that she must, but she also finds that there is a gorgeous man who is crazy about her, and he is determined that he is not going to let her walk away from him and a chance at something new. This book leaves you wanting the next book in the series right away so that you can continue Ruby's journey once she arrives back on the west coast. I loved the narrator she had the excitement and tenor of what the characters sounded like in my head. Can't wait to get the next audio book in the series "Quick".

Devoured in hours!

Devoured it in hours!

This is the beginning of Ruby and Quick’s relationship? I sure hope so!!!

Ruby finally has had it with her no good, cheating husband and is finally serving him with divorce papers. But in order to go through with it (she knows if she is here when Derek gets them she’ll be talked out of it) she leaves her baby girl with her aunt and goes to see her BFF Izzy in New York.

What happens is one hot, spicy quick weekend full of folks from The Wolfeman MC who show Ruby (duly nicknamed Firecracker by Quick!) that she is strong enough to get her life back for her and her daughter.

The love and caring of this MC and the camaraderie of the close knit group really carries this story along.

Ruby at first is afraid to engage but all it takes is being with her Izzy to awaken her inner spirit again. Loved how she lets go on this weekend adventure away from her pending divorce.

And Quick is gorgeous, funny and hot as hell in the sheets! Wowza the connection between him and Ruby was extremely hoy sexually.

The ending is quick and it leaves a gal wanting/needing more. Can’t wait to how it all works out for Quick and his firecracker!

Alice Rose does an amazing job with all of the various characters in this audiobook. She is new to me and I will be checking her out more. Impressive acting voicing all these characters.

Angera, I haven’t sat down to read a book in years now with my audiobook obsession but I may just need to break down and read Quick’s book to see what happens.

Impressive start for the Wolfeman MC and don’t forget the Spin It series that blends with them. Kudos Angera!

She is a firecracker!

Main character is spunky and she had one hell of a weekend. Loved the story and the narrator did an amazing job, one hell of a great combination!
