Homage to family and memory

This memoir of a father and mother and their distinct personalities using the journals, conversations and letters the author’s father conferred , to her. Is a marvel of biographical writing. There is much to learn about family dynamics and the imperfections of love and ambition here.

Love Tanen’s other books but not this

Very disappointing and boring. Fans of her other works will probably not like this one .
