Derek Williams had just been hired for a seasonal job of selling Christmas trees in Panguitch, Utah after moving from Colorado and a painful breakup. He had been engaged and two months before the wedding, his fiance broke off their engagement claiming she just didn't have the right feelings for him. She was definitely right about that when two days later, he saw her with another guy and it was obvious that they had known each other for a while based on the way they were kissing.

Colleen Nelson was in between customers when she noticed the new guy come out of the manager's office. He was tall with a great build, a narrow waist and long legs. She liked his dark brown hair and pale blue eyes, and hoped he might stop by her register so she could introduce herself. Unfortunately, he seemed preoccupied and continued going out the door after he briefly acknowledged her. She was a patient girl and would wait for the right opportunity. In the meantime, she had another customer to ring up.

Would Colleen, the outgoing cashier, be able to pull Derek out of his breakup blues? It's Christmas time...and there's magic in the air!
