Finding Friday was the first male only Narration I have tried that had the FMC POV most, that said he did an a wonderful job! At first It was disorienting, but I got use to it very easily because his female voice interprutation wasnt awful.
I went through the reviews before giving this one a try and was on the fence about it because of the low rating reviews. While I do agree that the world building could have been better, I don't know what a circle is, how they learned about it being a normal thing, or how they learned about a prophet/oracle, when they were supposedly born from humans with no idea of who or what they were until it was happening to them. That being said, the character interactions was great. I loved how the story progressed, the chemistry was hot. Friday makes a believable human with a decent amount of confidence and as dumb as it was getting into a car with men she didn't know, she was very much from the F IT Class! I will be reading Book 2.
