When Crispin reveals that he is gay to his lifelong friend, Dylan, Dylan outs Crispin to his father who in a fury disowns Crispin and throws him from his home into a blizzard. Meanwhile, Dylan suffers a life-threatening beating by his homophobic father only to be rescued by Crispin and Jason who bring Dylan into the family. The two boys reconcile and explore their love as boyfriends. Ash accepts his brother's love for Dylan as he explores his love for Beth.
