Set in the Nexus Realm, Chrono finds himself lacking the rubber dragon lord that normally is the king of the castle and had to fill a lot of the job roles that Renzyl has left vacant. Unfortunately for him while most view him as an authority figure the silver rubber raptor doesn't have the same respect that his master had, which meant that many minions would often try to sidestep over him in order to get to the nexus lord himself. As the tasks start to pile up and no sign of Renzyl's return on the horizon Chrono decides to do something that he had set up with the rubber dragon in the case of an extended absence. That involved stepping in the rubber paws of the dragon, in this case literally as he uses the power of the primordial rubber in order to become Renzyl himself! The changes seem to work and he finally starts to get things done, but an ancient power that had lied dormant seemed to realize that the throne was vacant and decided to make the disguised raptor's life even more complicated by escaping!
