The stories use animals to depict people and are written in a way so as to help people understand about some of the problems faced by survivors of ritual abuse. The stories are written so as not to shock but to raise gentle awareness. Each story is based on a real person facing real issues but they are fully anonymised.

Explaining different abuse

This is an interesting concept. Explaining different types of abuse as a children’s story.
Though, this should not be read to children, it definitely helps adults understand what people/victims go through in different situations.
