Things are heating up

I was thrilled for the opportunity to listen to this book 🎧 The book is read by Jack Hart who has a beautiful voice and brought the characters from Fellside to life.

This is the first book in the Greenview Manor series and the one I missed reading!

Things are heating up at the manor with Sheila and Josh 🔥
Sheila keeps busy as the general manager of the manor and keeps having run ins with Josh, the fire chief 👨🏻‍🚒, especially when the guests smoke 🚭 and set off the fire alarm.

This series is small town romance with relatable characters (the main characters being in their 40s) who live their lives in these short, sweet novels. I am glad I got to listen to the first one and get caught up. I can’t wait for more!

good book but didn't care for narration

I recently finished reading this story, and overall, it was a good read! I enjoyed the plot and how everything unfolded throughout the chapters. However, I wasn't completely sold on the narration style, which made it hard to follow at times. I've read other books by this author, and I've enjoyed them.📚 I'm eager to see what the author comes up with next time.

Sweet and spicy 🌶️

I really enjoyed the overall story, and though I’m not used to the short novella style it was a nice change of pace. Sheila and Josh’s story was so sweet in finding love again while also working with having older children who have struggles of their own.

The female MC was a little hard to distinguish from the male MC to begin with, but as I got used to listening it got easier. Otherwise, a very nice pick for a voice actor especially for the emotion put into words.

the story line was great, the narrator was amazing. I could feel the emotions, the change of characters and all of it.

Involved short story

I read this book as well, so this was a refresh. Just as enjoyable of a short story. However, I will note that for me I had to slow it down more than I usually do because of the accent on the narrator. I know the book takes place in the UK, so the accent is perfect, just not what I normally listen to.
