Resumen del Editor

No ideological assault has been more ferocious than radical feminism's 40-year war against women. And no battlefield leader has been more courageous than Phyllis Schlafly. In these dispatches from the battlefront, feminism's most potent foe exposes the delusions and hypocrisy behind a movement that has cheated millions of women out of their happiness, health, and security.

Phyllis Schlafly was one of the first to recognize that radical feminism, like other destructive ideologies, is at odds with human nature. So as the rest of the intellectual elite fell compliantly into line, she took up the fight for the right to be a woman. Feminist Fantasies is the inspiring story of that fight.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"It's almost unfair for Schlafly to train her analytical mind on the feminists. Time and again she goes like a heat-seeking missile to the heart of the matter....And, as this book demonstrates, she is always right. She has always been right. She will always be right." (Ann Coulter)

Very thought provoking

I know this book would probably be called sexist in today's culture but if you want to hear a book of great countercultural arguments, this is it! 10/10 would recommend to a friend

I want my priviledges back!

I first heard about Phyllis Schlafly from the show Mrs. America. I could tell they were trying to make her look bad, but they couldn't because she was 100% correct. So I got this book on audible. I enjoyed the forward by Ann Coulter. The book was a little disjointed, I think it is a collection of her newsletters. But it's so interesting to see her perspective from her, seeing the feminist movement changing the culture and accurately predicting the logical conclusion of the ideas. I grew up within this feminist culture and now I'm seeing how insane it's getting with the denial of female and male physical differences, women in the military, gender-neutral restrooms, etc. The only reason we don't have women in the draft now is because the Supreme Court has refused to hear the case. I'm nostalgic for a time I can't remember when the vulnerability of being a woman, being the one who can get pregnant, and being physically weaker and smaller and at risk from male aggression. A time when women weren't expected to have sex or be called prudes and made fun of. I want my privileges back! Her writing style is entertaining. It's amazing that she "went viral" back in the day when people had to actually print on paper and mail newsletters. Now I want to read "A choice, not an echo" which was her best-selling book before she got interested in feminism. And it has a forward by Ron Paul!

Common Sense

One of the finest books on the subject of feminism, well researched and methodically presented. This is a work of serious scholarship, but with the practical insights of a regular woman who is not blinded by the ideological adsurdities of the academic left. Everyone who values ALL people regardless of sex should read (or listen to) this book to hear how some radicals seek to divide us.

Should be required reading for all girls and women

Should be required reading for all girls and women across the world.

Schlafly was the single greatest reason we don’t have homosexual marriage, females in the draft, and abortion- among other horrible ideas, written into the US Constitution by defeating the Equal Rights Amendment.

She was a trailblazer and incredible defender of traditional and conservative values.

Feminism actually benefits men! Odd as that seems, it is meant to destroy the home maker and male/female relationships.

Reject modernism ladies. Your greatest legacy is creating a nurturing and loving home for your husband and children.

An interesting Read

I have to admit that I disagree with a few of Phillis Schlafly's points concerning Judeo-Christian morality for the success of America, pornography, homosexual civil unions, and sexual liberation but kept in mind that Schlafly wrote most of her pamphlets between 1982 and the early 2000's. Most of her writings still ring true today and makes one realize that the issues we women face with feminism today is very similar to what they faced during her time. Although much of what she warned against and legal policies have come to a head or is currently being put in place, with disastrous consequences. A must read for any Contemporary feminist, as this woman does not seem to be well known, but her message is still important. be warned, just as you think you ought to stop listening, keep on listening, she will eventually suprise you at the end.

A must-read!

I was introduced to Phyllis Schlafly when Michael Knowles was discussing the inaccurate movie or tv show that was about her. I came across this book and figured it was going to a regular redpill book. It was but it wasn’t boring at all. She doesn’t waste anytime with unimportant details and is very direct with what she discusses. It’s mostly a timeline structured book but it’s incredibly important to read how bad feminism was and still is. Feminists are basically Marxists

Excellent overview of feminism in politics, agenda, theory

Great overview of feminism through the sexual revolution to early 2000s. Boring narrator with an almost mechanical sounding voice, but well worth the listen for the content!

Devastating

Complete dismantling of second and third wave feminist ideas. Absolutely riveting how political action never achieves a good result.

Great sampling of a giant

I had never read anything by the author, and this was a very good introduction to some of the heart of her thought on feminism in the Human family

Brilliant!

Take the time to listen and weep! Just about everything Mrs. Sclafly wardens about here has come to pass
