I started writing in my journal in Albanian language when I was only 15. I did it just for myself; never thinking that one day, I would share my deepest secrets with the world. Writing this book was like reliving my life all over again. What an exhilarating and soul-nourishing experience it had been!
I decided to publish my story so that others could learn how to let the past go before it becomes their future; how to find the real purpose of their lives; and how to enjoy every moment. No matter where life takes us or treats us, as human beings, we should get up and move on. Hope is the only thing that keeps us going. My book will help you inspire and encourage you to live your life with bravery. You will find the true story of the survival of an Albanian girl and how her life was turned around for the better. You will be thrilled to meet the main character of this story, who starts out with a humble beginning but soon faces the horrors of the Kosova War (1998-1999).
