In the summer of 1940, Amsterdam suffocates under Nazi occupation. Their presence smells everywhere, abolishing freedom and murdering people who refused to bend. Young Erik Jansen, a man with an uncanny talent for disguise, does occasional chores for the illegal Dutch secret service and a local resistance.

When Erik infiltrates the Nazi headquarters and uncovers chilling intel about a captured British spy, he realizes the clock is ticking. The Nazis set the civilian train to transport their high-value prisoner to Berlin for intensive interrogation, potentially exposing crucial secrets which would change the progress of the war in an unwanted direction.

Erik boards the train. His mission: intercept the transport and prevent the spy from reaching Berlin. But when he encounters a ruthless adversary, the SS officer Hauptsturmführer Emil Hartmann Adlerstein, he knows that failure is not an option. With each passing minute, the risk of discovery grows, and exposure means certain death.
