Amazing horror book. Very well done and well written and narrated. Excellent storyline and definitely recommend this book.

Oh, MY… the laughs and cringes … love at first listen!

When an ad in a naughty magazine leads to a bachelor do at a Kaslaslavian Castle … including unlimited drinks AND a “surrogate” bride to keep the prospective groom. … uh … in line … what could possibly go wrong??? Well … snap on your “Fear Goggles”, this IS Steve Mcelhenny … so the answer is PLENTY … ALL brilliantly imaginative, laugh out loud funny, albeit sometimes delightfully cringe worthy, and at all times wonderfully unexpected! The premise is perfectly plotted to be surprise filled, twist prevalent, AND endowed with strangely endearing characters that alternately chilled and charmed me! Who’s-Who shall remain nameless to prevent spoilers, just know that ALL are beautifully and throughly drawn and defined, AND thanks to absolutely PERFECT narration, they are voiced and brought to life exactly as our author envisioned! I have so far listened three times straight through and I am still stunned anew by the brilliant bits of sarcastic wit, and perfectly placed humorous cringe! I am agog with LOVE for “Fear Goggles”! I cant stop listening! Five stunning stars across ALL Categories!

Loved it!

I’ll be honest, I knew within minutes this was going to be good! I was immediately drawn in by the intro music and then the opening dialogue which put me in mind of The Worlds End or Ladhood, (and that’s not a casual comparison but high praise) for its understated humour which had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. The narration was very natural and easy to listen to and the story evolved at a good pace. This was a great listen and one I can see myself listening to again. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

fun creepy story

I liked the story, it flowed pretty good. only problem was the narration sounded off. I had to turn the volume up pretty high like he was talking from far away. as8de from that story itself was pretty fun.
