Fated Alpha’s Rejected Mate (Fated Alpha Mates Book 2) ~~ This one leaned heavily into the heartbreak and betrayal, and I’m not mad about it. I read and listened to this book, and the pain of rejection before the mating ceremony was front and center. Running away to protect herself and her unborn child made complete sense to me ~ survival mode was fully activated.

The Alpha in this story had a long road to redemption, and I appreciated that it didn’t come easy. Trust had to be rebuilt, and forgiveness wasn’t handed out for free. The emotional push-and-pull kept me turning pages and queuing up the next Audible chapter.

The audiobook especially helped bring out the raw emotions ~ anger, fear, longing ~ all of it felt real. This book fits perfectly into the rejected mate trope and expands the series nicely.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to continue on. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.
