Scott Horton's performance is passionately excellent and Lew's writing is powerful and concise. Gems in literally every paragraph.

Fascism didn't end with WWII, but there's hope

How do you make the principled arguments of Lew Rockwell better? Have it narrated by Scott Horton! Imagine the history and hope of capitalism/libertarianism, with a complete refutation fascism, all with the tone of Harrison Ford saying, "Get off my airplane!"

Life-changing

As someone who had a more pro-state, authoritarian bent before reading this book, I have to say that it did an excellent job of convincing me of its arguments.

My only (small) critique is that the reader at times used a strange, almost TV-host kind of tone which was distracting.

I enjoyed the history lesson

First, Scott Horton did a good job reading the book. The story was easy to follow and gave valuable insight into the ideology and philosophy of some of the major influences in the Austrian movement.
It also went over the history Keynes, Greenspan and others and laid out a case for sticking to your principles and avoiding evil.
Overall I enjoyed it.

Great book and narration.

Great listen must read book. Interesting backstory on some of the great economists. Rockwell and Scott Horton you can't go wrong here.
