Until he gets a call to assist at a unique crime scene - Prince Albert's cairn in the Cairngorm National Park. The body of a young woman has been found at the pyramid, and although the crime scene is being overseen by Grampian Division, Hold is being sent by Fife.
Out of his jurisdiction, some of the other officers think he's out of his league.
But dealing with some of London's finest low life for fifteen years, he doesn't give in easily. And along with a DS who's on temporary assignment, he faces a tough challenge. Really good series! My only gripe is that they're too short. Angus King is phenomenal! There are a lot of characters and he does an absolutely amazing job at keeping each character distinct in his portrayal of them. He's incredible! Definitely a series I'll listen to again in the future. Welll done, JC!

Angus King is the best narrator! I love this series now when will the 17th book in the series be available? I am impatiently waiting for the next episode. I hope there is no more killing off of the main characters.
