I always find it hard to write a review. I can only say I loved it. But think Karin Slaughter fans know she is one of the best!! Can't wait for a new book. Narrator Kathleen Early is one of the best voices. Easy to lose yourself in the suspens

One of her best

This book kept me on the edge of my seat and took me on a journey of love and hope on the one side, despair and depravity on the other. Well written and sometimes very vivid. Very well read as well.

Brilliant

Another brilliant story by this amazing author. It was sometimes difficult to listen to but previous stories by this author had me taking a break and returning. The humanity and inhumanity was captured by the characters and the plot was excellent.

Gratuitous swearing

This story should have been powerful and gripping. But the awful language, out of place and overwhelming, spoiled it. Brilliant narrator.
