Kendra Mitchell was enjoying her morning ride on her horse, Raven. She had grown up in Cedar City, Utah and had recently purchased her own home in the small town of Kanarraville, Utah. While growing up on her parent's farm, they had an annual tradition of growing pumpkins, which she planned to also carry on in Kanarraville. During the summer months she worked as a bus driver for the Utah Parks Company and drove buses through Bryce and Zion National Parks while entertaining her riders with captivating stories.

She recently met a fellwo bus driver, Ned Kingsley, who thought he was pretty hot stuff because all the ladies were infatuated with his good looks...all the ladies except her. She continued to ignore him and went her separate way, while thinking the other ladies could have him. Much to her surprise, she received a special invitation requesting her to meet him in the lobby of Bryce Canyon on Wednesday where he planned to take her on a date of swimming, a delicious picnic, and a scenic drive. The message ended with his initials of 'NK' stating he would see her there by 7 a.m.
