This is a fun listen, narrated by AI. Not a terrible experience but nothing beats a person. Diana is a true crime enthusiast, always on the lookout for a would-be criminal. A turn-off for her ex, who winds up being a person of interest for her missing locket. He likes his precious. Little did she know her skepticism would serve her well on one of her dates. She out-crazied her captor and he ran off, leaving her chained to a chair. That intimidating label she's saddled with has been earned. Nate is her matchmaker, her perfect match but forbidden to pursue a client. He did his job, even at the risk of losing her. Mock dates that left me in stitches, real dates that made me cringe (authorities involved at least twice) and a party that left her questioning his leanings make this an entertaining tome. No bawdy language or deeds, just sarcasm and sweet kisses.
