So Good!

This book completely blew me away! The audiobook narration is absolutely stellar. I felt like I was right there alongside Johan, experiencing every heart-pounding moment. What really sets this book apart is the emotional depth as Johan struggles with themes of failure, friendship, and redemption. I found myself completely invested in Johan's journey. At just over three hours long, it's the perfect immersive escape that leaves you eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series. Definitely worth your time if you're craving an adventure with genuine heart!

Ideal for introducing the little ones to adventure

This adventure audiobook was fun, especially for the little ones, with a cool setting and Johan being a great example for the kiddos. The story felt a bit rushed, and some characters didn’t fully click, but since the book is aimed at a reading level for kids ages 8–12, I’m understanding. The narration adds charm, though more voice variety would’ve helped. That said, this is a great tool for helping kids learn to read, especially if they listen to the audiobook while following along with the print version!

Really good story!

If you’re into action packed novels that don’t waste any time, then this book is for you! It has a lot of good aspects in it such as having to save friends and family. The character development is really good as well!

I love books that take a few expected tropes from fantasy and twist them into something unique. This one is really well-paced, and fantastically narrated. I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. Willow was a great adventure with many exciting parts and twists and turns. Narrator was ok but would have liked a little more passion. Overall, very entertaining and fun listen!

Fall of the Willow, Song of The Willow Book 1 is an excellent introductory book series by Frank. Johan is a likabe, well developed character that kids can identify with. His adventures and twists of plot keep the listerner/reader immersed. This is an excellent listen for middle to upper elementary kids.

As an adult listener, I was surprised by how completely JE Frank's debut novel captured my imagination! The narrator perfectly brings Johan's daring personality to life - I felt transported alongside him, leaping through treetops and confronting mythical dangers with every twist of the story.

Fast-paced, magical, and totally hooked me!

I wasn’t expecting to get this into it, but Fall of the Willow had me from the first chapter. The world-building is super cool, and the main character Johan is like an adrenaline-junkie elf which I didn’t know I needed until now 😂. There’s action, mystery, and just enough fantasy to keep things interesting without getting confusing. The narration was solid too — really brought the forest and all the drama to life. If you're into fantasy adventures with a twist, give this one a go. I’m already waiting for the next book.
