Giving into the temptation to fear is sin, pure and simple, because it is rooted in lack of trust. The lies of the enemy come through fiery darts. They are always targeting our faith to destroy it. Fear is a very effective weapon in satan’s arsenal against us. However, we are armed with the power of God’s word, which is His sword of the Spirit. An excellent swordsman is able to defeat his enemy. One quick stab, and then he slices the life out of his opponent. We do the same when we wield God’s word that is hidden in our hearts.
