Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) does not have to be a scary prognosis. Rather, it can be the beginning of understanding. This short book is written for parents and caregivers to listen to with their children to help them see the strengths of their diagnosis. Written by an individual who has been diagnosed along the fetal alcohol spectrum herself, the author has firsthand experience as well as over 15 years in the FASD advocacy field.

As a Ph.D. candidate with a research focus on FASD, the author also understands the scientific ins and outs of the diagnosis but writes this book in a fun and lighthearted way, perfectly suitable for families just wanting to know more about the positive side of FASD. This book also provides the listener with opportunities to personalize the book to themselves by short-form journaling and doodling, giving them the chance to discuss topics such as strengths and goals as they look toward the future with hope!
