Resumen del Editor

Do you think women are courageous? Clever? Ambitious? Revolutionary? Innovative?

Women can be all these things and more....

This audiobook covers the stories of 55 extraordinary women who impacted and shaped our world. From world leaders to activists, business leaders, scientists, inventors, educators, sports figures, poets, novelists, entertainers, and more.

These women come from all walks of life; some were born in palaces, and others were born in poverty. However, all of them did remarkable things—fighting for their rights and rights of others, taking a stand in society, breaking world records, and being the first their field with an achievement.

Each story is written to encourage kids and adults to be courageous and be inspired to create.

In this audiobook, you will find out about:

  • "Firm, Unwavering Belief: Joan of Arc"
  • "The Lady with the Lamp: Florence Nightingale"
  • "The Queen with the Can-Do Attitude: Queen Victoria"
  • "An Understanding of Monkey Business: Jane Goodall"
  • "The First Woman in Space: Valentina Tereshkova"
  • "Fashion as Self Expression: Coco Chanel"
  • And more

This audiobook is perfect for Women’s History Month, but, to be honest, women’s history needs to be covered every month; these people made a difference in mainstream society.

There may be a couple of names you don’t know—and a lot of facts that you didn’t know about the people you do know, so settle back. Who says history has to be boring?

If you like to inspire your child to be creative or be curious, get this audiobook today!

A children's book highlighting women!

This was a great "read". We listened to it on a road trip. I wasn't sure how my friend's kids would react and had plenty of "back up" entertainment options, but the other options were completely unnecessary. The kids were thrilled to listed to this, reminded me when we stopped to for gas to, "make sure it was still playing" and were really bummed when we reached the end. I know what they will be getting for Christmas - Riddleland books!
