Nearly eight million people will die from starvation this year and 554,000 homeless Americans will sleep in cardboard boxes and eat out of garbage cans today, while Christian mega churches and ministries in America have enough money in their bank and investment accounts to feed all of these starving people three meals a day throughout the year, and to also house, feed, and provide medical care for every homeless person in America. Seven hundred children die from starvation every hour while prosperity preachers drive Rolls Royce automobiles, live in multi-million-dollar homes and fly in private jets.

Great info and well done on the research and argumentation. it is, unfortunately, a rehash of the same arguments we've heard for the content. Great job, still.

Half-Baked

While I agree with most of the author’s conclusions, the arguments taken to get there were not entirely logically sound. There was a lot of “this verse without context says X, therefore this statement by a prosperity gospel preacher without context that said Y is proof that they are wicked.” There’s plenty of arguments against prosperity gospel that don’t skip logical steps. This book could have been so good. Really it feels like a first draft. I’d love to read it again if it were re-written though.
