I really enjoyed this book! I love the fight scene in the arena! Girls Rule! I also loved that Kenzie new when to fight and when to get out of dodge. The world building wasn’t there but overall I could picture how much of the city looked. But it would have made this book a 5 star read had the world building been there.

Good with some awesome fight scenes

I’ve enjoyed some of Ms. Rudolph’s stories in the past despite all the erotica that she includes. Her stories are pretty good and I just tend to ignore all the rest. But I could not bring myself to enjoy this particular book. I had to forward through a lot of the erotical just to get to the story. And the story didn’t entertain me as in the past. I liked Mad (our hero) but could not develop any empathy for our heroine. Their romance just seemed disconnected or unconvincing. Mr. Waters’ performance was very good. He did a great job on the character voices.
