this was an enlightening intro to Japanese culture

Very well written and very well read. Each chapter title is clear and thorough.
I would like to now read a book that dives into each one of these topics more thoroughly.
A good read.

Good Introduction to Japanese Etiquette

This book is a good introduction to Japanese etiquette, especially for someone traveling to Japan for business. Some simple Western behaviors (like taking a business card and putting it into your pocket) are considered rude in Japan (you accept the business with both hands and read the name and title carefully as this is how introductions are done). Some chapters aren't relevant to etiquette, like Japanese pronunciation and the samurai code of conduct.

A great book

A wonderful book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found great relation with the material and I further highly recommend this book.

Business specific

Focuses a lot on business interactions and etiquette between business professionals. For me looking into the book for knowledge prior to personal travel I found its knowledge quite lacking.
