Esther

She was born by the name Hadassah, in a simple Jewish household in the Persian capital of Susa. But the name everyone remembers was the one she never wanted: Esther. Growing up, she admired Queen Vashti, a woman who never let a man order her around. When she was brought against her will to the king’s palace to serve as a lowly concubine, she felt certain she was destined for something greater. She just wasn’t ready to find out how right she was.
Elevated by her beauty to the status of royalty, Esther soon found herself trapped in a world where assassins lurked in every shadow and the wrong word could get someone killed. She felt certain she was a strong enough woman to survive. But when a new danger from a very old enemy threatens to wipe out her entire race, she realized her own strength will never be enough. She’ll need God.
But in order to have God’s Providence, she’ll need to change everything she’s ever believed.

Great retelling of Bible story

Found this by accident. Loved the adaptation of this very old story. Esther was a true heroine.
