Rick Lattimer, an American private investigator and former DEA Agent, accepts a run of the mill investigative assignment to Guatemala. Unknown to Rick, his target is the eldest son of Colombian Cocaine Lord, El Martillo(The Hammer). El Martillo orders a corrupt General Director of the Guatemalan National Police to have Rick murdered. The attempt fails with the untimely deaths of three crooked cops as well as El Martillo's favorite son. Rick succeeds in escaping back to the USA assisted by a courageous and very attractive German-American female, Erika. However, their desire to settle in Denver and raise a family is rudely interrupted by El Martillo's continued quest to murder Rick thus avenging his departed son. Rick is taken on as a DEA Informant. He and Erika, go on the offensive, turning the tables on El Martillo by capturing him and bringing him to the USA where he is wanted for murder. It is a mission fraught with danger on land, in the air, and on the sea.
