A unique volcano erupts while a young couple travels by car. With roads obstructed by pools of lava, they find themselves stranded near the mountain that threatens to erupt again at any minute. But due to the aftermath of the havoc, the landscape is unrecognizable, and the surrounding buildings prove to be unreliable sources of refuge. More things continue to go wrong, igniting even more tension throughout the survivors. In the meantime, the news is reporting that the volcano is predicted to erupt again soon, this time, to a much larger extent. They must find a way out of the affected town before it's too late.
