Six Threats to the Natural World

This book examines six environmental toxins including soil pollution, acid rain, deforestation, water pollution, air pollution, and urban sprawl. Each concern is discussed for its impact on the natural world along with ways it can be controlled and prevented. An added feature is the authors’ perspective for each type of environmental concern. These perspectives shed new light on the subject matter and introduce new thinking about why the problems exist. A bonus section featuring Louis Bevoc’s book, Green Business: The Role of Sustainability, is also included.
