Fascinating subject matter but feels like chatgpt wrote most of it

I listened to this title on audible, so granted maybe there are diagrams or other visuals that would have added more detail, but this felt like a very superficial overview of forensic entomology. Every subsequent chapter after the first is just a reiteration of the intro chapter, and doesn’t really add any specific technical detail or concrete knowledge. I think the phrase “entomological evidence can be used to determine post Morton interval” was repeated over twenty times, but at no point does the book actually elaborate on what lifecycles of which species correlate to what time periods of PMI. The case examples where entomology was used as seminal evidence that are listed are extremely vague, with most examples omitting the victim or perpetrator’s name, details about the case, exactly what insect species were involved, etc. The whole book reads like a student assignment where the kid copy pasted the assignment prompt into chatgpt, and chat just came up with 8 chapters of fluff because obviously AI can’t conduct substantive research like a true student of the field.
