Due to the pandemic, the St. Louis Homicide Division lack enough detectives to stop a serial killer who has murdered three people. The lead detective, Roger Simon, worked as Kate’s partner before she left the force. To solve the problem, he hires her agency to track down the killer.
Never one to back away from a challenge, Kate and her partner, Amy Perkin, agree to take the case. Because the murders are committed in broad daylight and a white limousine is used as a getaway car, Kate believes they can easily catch the killer.
