Great Script. Poor reading and recording.

Great voice and tone. The recording is not. It seems like someone has altered the clarity of her voice, which to me is distracting. Also, it appears like the reader was focusing on her script and not on her audience, which makes it difficult to concentrate to the content of the script. All my respect for the author and the script. The quality of the recording and the focus on the script nulifies the desired effect. The Script needs to be spoken, not read. I hope the reader takes this as a positive criticism and consider redoing it.

Engaged Writing

This creativity series is great. I've written the creator to see if I can purchase the whole collection from her directly. I just purchased the "Rainforest" hypnosis CD from ITunes. I specifically purchased it from ITunes to avoid the jarring audible.com voice over tag that plays at the end of the recordings. I found that the ITunes version has an even longer and more jarring Audible.com message than the ones purchased directly on the Audible site.

I often listen to audio books to get to sleep and I can't tell you how many times that ending tag has jarred me awake. It's so frustrating.
It's especially frustrating when listening to a CD on meditation or hypnosis. The Audible.com ending is recorded in a shrill voice that's many octaves higher than the base recording.

I highly recommend Maggie's hypnosis recordings. I would love it, if Audible would stop including that jarring voice over tag at the end of all of its recordings.

I want to say that I like this one better than I like 'Inspired Novel', her other hypnosis audio. I think I like this one a little better because it's a little shorter. I would love it if she had more of these. I really enjoy an afternoon hypnosis session to calm my mind and focus me. I totally trust her and I am immediately under when she says to be. I recommend this one highly.
