Very practical planner

This planner is a really practical tool for anyone wanting to make sure their family won't have unnecessary stress later on. It breaks down the overwhelming parts of end-of-life planning into manageable steps, making everything clear and less intimidating. I love that it includes personal touches like sections for letters to loved ones and pet care details—really thoughtful additions that show it’s about more than just paperwork.

Beyond the couple of silly voice additions that were probably not supposed to be included, I am a 57 year old female, divorced but in a new relationship. Four grown children, one grandchild. Some days I still feel like I'm 12, so not sure why I feel the need to listen to an "end of life planner" except I want to be sure my things, no matter what they are, are distributed according to my own wishes. I probably knew about 45% of the info but there was a lot of stuff I didn't know. One of the things that really struck me was the memory boxes. I never thought about that but, what a fantastic way to record your relationships to people that meant so much to you. I'm going to do that! Aren't they going to be surprised when they find out I left them memories of our interactions! That's so cool! Nice book with a lot of great info.

Good to think about this now

As painful as it is to think about not being here or a loved one not being here, I think a bigger regret is not making the most of the time that we do have here. That’s why I’m glad I was able to listen to this book as it has made me feel more prepared and it covers a lot of good ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own.

I have aging parents and wanted to listen to this to help start some conversations. And it really hit the mark. It's thoughtful and detailed. It's compassionate, too. Excellent narrator. Glad I found it.

Needed before you go

I know for me, I don't want to think about when I'm gone. But this book put a whole knew spin on it, and got me thinking...if I were to go now, what would I want my kids to know, my loved ones to know? These things need to be planned out, and this books helps with that.

This audiobook was great, covers so much info yet is delivered at a nice pace and cadence. It covers topics that could be difficult to bring up in a simple, factual way. I really appreciated this and feel much more prepared.
