Acerca de esta escucha
The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, Encountering the Holy Land: Audio Lectures includes high-quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources.
The first lesson introduces the "playing board" of biblical history, followed by lessons arranged historically that begin with Eden and trace the historical progression of the Old and New Testaments. The audio lecture provides an engaging, accurate, and faithful companion to God's Word.
Throughout Encountering the Holy Land, scholar Carl Rasmussen illuminates the geographical and historical context of biblical events. Destined to become a favorite guide to biblical geography for students of the Bible, this accessible set of audio lectures will invite you into the world of the Bible as never before.
Encountering the Holy Land: Audio Lectures features the author's expert teaching and are an ideal resource for traditional students, students in distance and online-learning courses, and self-learners wanting to better understand Christian theology.

Excellent content
The geography and history of the Holy Land are clearly and simply explained in this lecture series. I like it so well that I purchased the series in video format so that I can get the full benefits of the presentation, but if that’s not an option for you there is value in listening to this audiobook, particularly if you track the areas with a Holy Land map or atlas as you listen. Out of several resources I’ve tapped in preparation for our Holy Land trip, Carl Rasmussen’s lectures have been the most beneficial.
