Before the century ends within an always connected world, the global information technology company Enclosure Cloud Systems controls the content we consume, and the value we place on privacy, or lack thereof, in this future society. Information is power, and Enclosure has all of it. To escape this lack of privacy, Enclosure has presented the option of time travel, a way to leave the present and live in the past anonymously. The data footprint that is your life is then reset. A time travel relocation error occurs, and a couple is killed as they are removed from time.

Detective Anna Price, isolated from connected reality, and her partner Jason Lin, always connected to the cloud, are tasked with this investigation. As they navigate this future world of augmented and virtual reality, self-driving cars, autonomous weapons platforms, international thieves and assassins, machine conscious and artificial intelligence, they find themselves pulled deeper into a conspiracy of epic proportions and find that truths are not always true, and facts can be molded to fit anyone’s narrative, or so they think.
