This book is great. A "Chronicles of Amber" for the 21st century, with extra SciFi.

Author clumusly jams in his wokeness

The story and the universe are good but the authors ham fisted wokeness gets jammed in all over the place and drags you out of the story to roll your eyes. Its a pity.
