Acerca de esta escucha
The 2024 Elections are over. Large portions of the population are shocked, saddened, and trepidatious. Large portions of the country are excited for Trump's second term, while being perplexed or dismissive towards his detractors. Now is the time to talk and listen—about how we got here and what we can do going forward.
This book is an investigation on how emotional intelligence can facilitate discussions about our current political climate within America.
How can we explain the steep divide on how we all view Donald J. Trump? How can we slow down the arguing and bickering, which leads to distrust, on social media and across mainstream media platforms?
From my experiences being an enabler and target, we'll examine attributes of narcissism. We'll apply those personal micro examples to our political macro environment, post-election. MAGA, Liberals, and non-MAGA conservatives play specific roles within the narcissistic triangle. We’ll leave tons of space for counter arguments, via history, psychology and sociology.
We’ll examine individual self-awareness versus our collective subconscious’ desires to “be right”.
